Chasin’ Tail Charters is not a fleet, it’s one boat and me. So when you book your trip you know exactly who you’re going out with and on what boat.
I’m a born and raised Ketchikan local. I’ve spent the majority of my life on these beautiful Alaskan waters and provided countless Ketchikan fishing charters.
All my Ketchikan fishing charters are done on the C/V Chasin’ Tail. It’s meticulously maintained for your enjoyment and mine.
If you’re travelling to Ketchikan with kids and want to bring them fishing with you, I think it’s a great idea! Kids are a welcome, easy addition to Ketchikan fishing charters.
I like to keep them involved and have them help me on the boat as much as possible. Young kids get their own tackle box. And if safety and conditions allow, they can drive the boat. It’s a learning experience and an adventure! Also, sometimes the littlest angler reels in the biggest catch! Kids under 16 don’t require an Alaska fishing license.
